CEED Business Angels Club First Pitch Session a Success
On March 5th, CEED Macedonia co-hosted its first Pitch Session for the CEED Business Angels Club. The event was organized in collaboration with Summer Work and Travel (SWT) Alumni and Newman’s Business Accelerator. Twenty-one startups had 2 minutes to pitch their businesses followed by 5 minutes of Q & A.
The CEED Business Angels Club was established by 16 CEED entrepreneurs and the CEED Regional Director in November of 2013. This event is the 3rdpitch session hosted by the Business Angels Club and to date the club has made 1 investment.
According to Jovan Madjovski, Regional Manager of CEED, “This is one of the largest pitching sessions ever held in Macedonia. Events like this are important for the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Macedonia. We have a lot of young people with great business ideas and smart capital is needed to make these ideas a reality.”
Investors reached out to those who peaked their interest to learn more about the companies, their management teams and to start the due diligence process for investment
