Matata Tungaraza
Accountant
Matata Tungaraza is SEAF-KASI Agriventures’ Head Accountant. He holds a Masters of Science in Accounting and finance, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has more than twenty years of experience in financial management, budget development and monitoring, treasury and cash management, financial reporting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), grant and sub grants management and auditing. Previous work with developmental agencies includes managing donor funds from USAIDA, EU, USDA, and NORAD. Prior to SEAF KASI, Mr. Tungaraza worked with energy industry (specifically Oil companies) for 1 year as a Chief Accountant responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting and finance issues including company final accounts and internal control. For sixteen years he has worked with International NGO, CARE International in Tanzania holding various positions like, Head Office Accountant, Budget Manager and finally as Senior Accountant.
