25 Jan SEAF Strengthens Support for Ukraine’s Reconstruction with Appointment of Oleg Osipenko as Chief Country Representative
Washington, D.C., January 25, 2024 – SEAF is delighted to share the exciting news of Mr. Oleg Osipenko’s appointment as Chief Country Representative for our activities in Ukraine. In this role, Oleg Osipenko will play a pivotal role in coordinating SEAF’s investment activities and technical assistance programs dedicated to supporting Ukrainian SMEs.
A Ukrainian national, Oleg brings a wealth of experience in real estate credit and investments. His professional journey includes training at PwC in Kyiv and subsequent career growth as an M&A and private equity banker at Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley. Oleg’s expertise extends to leading multi-product banking operations in both Ukraine and Germany.
He is a graduate of Kiev National Economics University (BA, Econ), Duke University (MBA), the London School of Economics (MPA), and Imperial College London (MS, Business Analytics).
“Oleg’s transaction experience in Ukraine and surrounding European markets will be a huge asset to SEAF’s work of supporting the SMEs which will be critical to rebuilding Ukraine,” expressed Paul Sheehan, CEO at SEAF. “Oleg’s unique combination of skills, experience and understanding of the Ukrainian and regional corporate culture will be a huge advantage for SEAF’s clients,” added Jan Cherim, SEAF Vice-Chair for EMEA.
