Beth Couch is the Communications Manager at SEAF and CEED, supporting both organizations in their global communications and marketing initiatives. Prior to joining SEAF and CEED, Beth was the Senior Writer on the Endowment and Foundation Advisory Services Team at Bernstein Private Wealth Management. In this role, Beth led the response to private client sales questionnaires, requests for proposals, and business pitches in new and challenged business for Bernstein’s 19 US offices. There she also authored internal and external communications for senior firm leaders and assisted in developing her team’s marketing strategy and thought leadership. Before her time at Bernstein, Beth was an Assistant Professor of English and Director of the English and Composition Programs at Quincy University in Illinois. She spends part of her free time as a freelance newswire writer for the Nonprofit Quarterly. Beth holds a MA and a PhD in English Language and Literature from Boston College where she was awarded the Donald J. White Award for excellence in teaching and the Von Hendy Award for distinction in writing.
